FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our team via CRISP online chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

What should I bring for my pets stay?
  • Bring your dog/s in on your lead, we will swap over to ours on arrival. We use our own equipment during the stay so that yours does not get misplaced or broken. Please bring them with you when you collect them.
  • Up-to-date Vaccination Certificate
  • Clearly label and bring medications or special dietary items, if applicable (additional fees may apply).
  • There is no need to bring personal items. We provide everything they require for their stay, bedding, toys and food (unless special diet or medication is required - fees apply).
Can I get regular updates or photos of my dog during their stay?

Absolutely! You are welcome to call or email for updates throughout the stay.

For further peace of mind, we also offer optional photo & video packages (additional fee applies) so that you can receive updates during their stay. These updates are sent via WhatsApp to ensure the best quality pictures and videos. These are wellness updates and do not include training updates if your dog is booked in for Training.

How do you ensure the safety of my dog around other boarded dogs?

All dogs are kennelled individually so that we can monitor their feeding. We can keep dogs from the same family together (provided there is no food aggression). If we feel your pet is experiencing unsettled behaviour towards or from other dogs, we will work out a schedule/routine around the exercise and socialising time. This method could help them ease into the new surroundings and build trust with the staff and other dogs.

Are there any restrictions on dog breeds or sizes for boarding?

We welcome all breeds, desexed statuses and temperaments. For over 25 years, we’ve welcomed various adorable dogs and are highly attuned to specific breed’s unique personalities.

We have adequately sized dog accommodationsfor all sizes and breeds. We don’t have any restrictions on dog breeds however if you feel your dog’s temperament may not initially fit in well in a boarding environment, feel free to discuss your concerns with one of our highly experienced staff members.

Can I provide my dog's own food, or do you supply meals?

We allow both options.

We provide only the best, most nutritious range of premium fresh and dry dog food, which includes fresh beef and chicken mince (can be cooked if required), to keep your dog healthy and happy.

We use Pet Food Australia’s dry kibble which is Turkey and Kangaroo based to ensure those with an aversion to Beef or chicken are catered for.

Alternatively, if your dog has a specific diet, you’re more than welcome to bring along their food with instructions (fees apply). We have refrigerator and freezer if you require your pet’s food to be kept cold.

How do you handle dogs with separation anxiety?

We understand that leaving your fur baby in an unfamiliar environment, with all the different sights, smells, and routines can be overwhelming for your furry friend.

Our mission is to ensure your pet’s stay is as warm, comfortable and safe as possible.

We allow some time to settle into the space they’ll be occupying by becoming more familiar with the smells, sights, and sounds.

We aim to provide a good amount of exercise that can lift their spirits, burn off some anxious energy and become more familiar and trusting of their surroundings and solidifying the bond with our staff. We guarantee that we will always offer lots of cuddles, pats, and even some distance until they feel calm in their temporary home away from home.
