DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING

Our dog obedience training uses positive reinforcement techniques that will improve your dog’s confidence and interactions with other dogs. Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT AGE SHOULD I START TRAINING MY DOG?
The earlier the better, especially when it comes to learning basic commands. Many veterinary clinics offer puppy training services, from the ages of 8-10 weeks, where they will learn essential basic commands and socialisation skills. Once your precious pup is fully vaccinated we can provide dog training classes at our dog training school in Sydney from 16 weeks of age.
HOW LONG DOES A DOG TRAINING COURSE LAST?
Typically, our dog training courses go for 8 days, your dog will board with us for the duration of the training. If you require further training, please speak to our friendly staff. They are more than happy to answer any questions.
CAN I ATTEND THE TRAINING SESSIONS WITH MY DOG IN SYDNEY?
Watching your fur baby head off to “big” school can be daunting. Will they be ok? Will they get along with the other dogs and the trainers?
We’re dog owners too and although we don’t encourage dog owners to attend the dog training in Sydney if you want to drop by to check up on your fur
baby, you are more than welcome to.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE AGGRESSIVE OR ANXIOUS DOGS?
Unfamiliar spaces and new routines can be quite triggering for some dogs. By understanding the root cause and gradually socialising with different breeds, they will rebuild trust and strengthen their bond with you and their environment.
Our dog training classes in Sydney’s ongoing application of effective positive reinforcement techniques can help manage aggression or anxiety.
HOW DO YOU ENSURE THE SAFETY OF MY DOG AROUND OTHER BOARDED DOGS?
If we observe any aggressive behaviour among the dogs, we’ll separate them and gradually reintroduce them until the aggression subsides. For their comfort and safety, each dog is provided with an individual boarding kennel during their stay, so they feel safe and secure.
WILL MY DOG NEED ANY VACCINATIONS BEFORE TRAINING?
We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated before commencing our extensive dog training classes.
CAN I RECEIVE PROGRESS UPDATES ON MY DOG’S TRAINING?
Yes! We’ll provide regular updates on how your dog is progressing. Our progress reports will address areas that need further improvement and the little wins they may have along the way.
